The French national institute of statistics and economic studies (INSEE) has just published the new reference indication of rents, changed by law and based on the purchasing power.
This indication corresponds to the average over the last twelve months of the Consumer Price Index except tobacco and except rents.
So, in the fourth quarter of 2007, the reference indication of rents settles in 114.30, that is an annual progress of 1.36 %.
As from February 10th, 2008, this indication constitutes new reference for any review of rents. Any revaluation will not be able to exceed its increase
