The land register of France can consequently be consulted on Internet at the following address: www.cadastre.gouv.fr.
This web site can be use by British speakers just by click the British Flag on the home page.
The persons who like to consult land register plan can edit and print for free extracts in format A4 or A3.
The consultation for all councils will be made in a progressive manner. At the moment, the land register of 30 French departments is fully available. The 600 000 plans covering the national territory will be available by mid-February.
To make a research, the internet user will have to point out address or references of plot, guide by an online help and of cartographic tools (displacement on plan, measurements of distance and areas, notes, etc).
It remains of course available in the land register office and in the town hall.
