New index on resale property market in France
Every tuesday of each month, we will published the evolution of the new index indicating the increase or decrease of the prices of resale property in the eight biggest cities in France, for apartments and houses. As well we will published the average percentage of negociation compared the asking price.
It is calculated on the basis of real sales from the newspaper "De Particulier à particulier".
The index of June has been calculated compared with 11.844 sales in May :
- index of June for apartments: 1.851 (basis 1.000 1st of January 2001)
- index of June for houses: 1.521 (basis 1.000 1st of January 2001)
For the apartments the variation vs may is +0.7% (+6.93% since 1st of January 2005) and +1.54% (+4.90% since 1st of January 2005).
The percentage of negociation is 2.15% for the apartments and 2.49% for houses.
